Structure of an Open Space

Most of all, at an Open Space there's no up-front agenda. Rather all participants are invited to bring their topics, interests, questions and curiosity to jointly create an agenda.

This self-organized agenda-creation is a facilitated process that happens during the opening of an Open Space and is sometimes called a Marketplace. The agenda that's co-created during an Open Space's Marketplace can further evolve throughout the event, based on the participants' needs.

Open Space Principles & Law

Furthermore an Open Space follows 4 principles:

... and 1 law:

The law of 2 feet - if you are neither learning nor contributing, move on!
