💡 The agenda for the #humansconf Virtual Open Space is filled by you, the participants. In that sense, you're invited and encouraged to propose sessions before the event starts.

You can propose sessions at the event, we got some time reserved for that, but it's encouraged to add your session ideas to the agenda as it speeds up the intro phase.

Also this way, participants who are new to the format can get a glimpse what to expect and it might spark a conversation and some tips before the event starts.

How to propose sessions for the event?

Short Version

When you registered for the #humansconf Virtual Open Space, you should have received an email invite from notion.so to participate in editing the agenda page.

This invite will be sent to the email address that you used when registering for the event. You can then login to notion (maybe you need to register a notion.so account first) and edit this page.

If you registered for the Open Space and haven't received an invite to edit this page, then please reach out to [email protected].

Longer Version

 1. As a registered participant of the #humansconf Virtual Open Space, you should have received an email from notion.so inviting you to edit the agenda page.
 2. If you'd like to talk about a certain topic, aka propose session, you need to be logged into notion.so with an account whose email address equals the email address with which you registered for the #humansconf Virtual Open Space.
 3. As soon as you're logged in, you should be be able to edit the agenda page.
 4. What's possibly confusing: If you're on the agenda page and you're not yet logged in, there's no prompt asking you to log in to edit the page. So, if you registered a notion.so account but still can't edit the agenda page, it' possible that you're not yet logged in. Go to notion.so/login to log in and then back to the agenda page.
 5. When you can edit the page, fill any of the available cells/cards in the Session Plan board that's at the bottom of the agenda page.

As a session host ...

... please include your name into your session proposal. You can optionally link your name to your website, Twitter-, LinkedIn- or any other profile, so that people know who is the session host

... capture the results of your session. It's easiest capture the results directly on the card in the session agenda board. However, feel free to link to any other resource, such as a Google doc, Jamboard, a Mural or Miro board or any other tool that works for you.
